Faction 2 is commonly seen around the edges of the galaxy amidst green plants, often seen growing on their ships, as certain blocks in this faction support the growth of plant life. They have a unique way to produce resources using Solar Panels. Their default colors are lime green and grey.

Despite the faction being weak at the beginning, this will change. It will become more lethal later in the game:
It can create a mobile garden, these often becoming quite large, but it must be well protected and well placed.
You may alternatively create a child design that has a garden and/or Solar Panels in it, acting as a refill station.
If you manage to reach 8000 P, design for both Player's Designs and Child Designs.
Both Faction 2 and Faction 4 are easily expandable, being able to quickly produce large fleets due to the possession of Solar Panels and Seed Planters (unique, and available only to Faction 2).
However, Faction 4's Solar Arrays produce R faster than Faction 2. Their Solar Panels can only produce 0.2 per second while Faction 4's produce 0.5 (small size) and 0.8 (large size).
For both efficient and decent firepower, they are second in versatility to Faction 8.
